Vintage Ergotine Bottle
For your consideration:
A very lovely and small blue Sharpe and Dohme Ergotine bottle with Label.
This was once administered to women immediately after the expulsion of the placenta, used as a prophylactic measure against post-partem hemorrhage.
This wee bottle measures 2 inches tall.
The label on the front has a nice patina and is still legible even though part of it is missing.
Back of the bottle has raised embossed lettering.
The bottle is in very good condition.
All bottles are sold only for collector purposes
and contents must not be used in any way. This item is being sold as a collectible only and
not for use of the contents.
