Injection Brou Quack Medicine Bottle
For your consideration:
Injection Brou was not a cure for genital diseases, but something that killed the pain.
This medicine was syringed into your private parts as the cure, although whether it worked is anybody's guess. The ingrediants were zinc sulfate, lead acetate, Tr. catechu, Tr. opium (with saffron) and water.
This bottle stands 7 and 1/2 inches tall and is heavily embossed with the words Injection Brou on front.
Paris embossed on one side and 102 Rue Richeliue on other. This is an 8-sided bottle crystal clear bottle with the slightest hue of lavendar, there is a small quarter inch bottom lip flake otherwise in excellent condition. Blown in mold, a nice rare French bottle!
This lovely bottle comes from the private collection of a longtime
collector of Apothecary Items.
