Vintage Adeps Hominis Apothecary Jar
For your consideration:
This is a modern apothecary jar that was made in Germany by Herr Keramik.
Stands 5 and 1/2 inches tall with lid.
Adeps Hominis means roughly Fat of a Man; which
at one time was a prime ingredient used and sold in European apothecary shops many
years ago. I am pretty certain this is a joke type apothecary jar, which is in mint condition.
This lovely bottle comes from the private collection of a longtime
collector of Apothecary Items.
All bottles are sold only for collector purposes
and contents must not be used in any way. This item is being sold as a collectible only and
not for use of the contents.
