Whitall Tatum Invalid's Drinking Cup with Original Box

For your consideration:
This is a lovely Victorian-era "Ideal" Invalid's Drinking cup with original box, which was made by the Whitall Tatum Company.

The Whitall Tatum Company was the first glass factory in America. It operated from the early 1800s up until around 1938, and was located in Millville, NJ.

This very unusual Invalid's drinking cup is made of glass. The cup is 4 inches long and the box is 5 inches long and is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, and I noticed that while shooting it, it is weighted to that when full of liquid it can be set down on its side and won't roll.

The white spots you see on the glass is from the original packing material (actual material) and can easily be washed off with mild soapy warm water.

Box is still solid and not ripped or tattered though it does have water stains on the side, one side is ripped on the seam, and there is some decomposition of the cardboard on the inside of the top of the box.

The front image on the box is very much nearly intact depicting an invalid drinking from the cup.
