Vintage Paregoric Medicine Bottle
For your consideration:
This is an old medicine bottle with a cork top.
It has the original prescription label on it for Paregoric.
There is no chips or cracks in this bottle. It is 4" tall,also
on the bottom it has a 3 then under it is a keystone with a J
in it and 353 on the side of the keystone.
Original cork, label has age and patina, but still readable.
On the label is written:
PAREGORIC
Alcohol 46.5%, Po. OPIUM 1.9 grs. to fl.oz.
Dosage (which is missing a bit of label here)
BLACK'S PHARMACY
Dublin, Georgia.
This lovely bottle was originally found in the back room of an old
corner drug store and comes from the private collection of a longtime
collector of Apothecary Items.
