Vintage Ozoform Embalming Fluid Bottle
This is a wonderfully strange original embalming fluid bottle once
used by a mortician during the 1920s. Ozoform concentrated has a tiny
bit of residue left inside the bottle.
The front of the bottle has the original paper label which has the
photograph of the face of a pretty and young female with her eyes closed.
And this begs the question: Was this a photo of an actual dead woman, or
was the woman a model pretending to be dead?
The label states: A preserving fluid which penetrates the flesh by
osmosis and therefore insures perfect preservation. (non-poisonous).
Directions: You may dilute the contents of this bottle with water to
make two quarts, or you may use only from 1/2 to 3/4 of it in the first
half gallon, and then use a full bottle in the second injection.
See directions. Dr. G. H. Michel & Co. 3808 Prospect Ave. Cleveland, O.

with graduated scales from 1 oz through 12 ozs.
