Beat Chick Coffee House Beatnik Jazz Poster

BEAT CHICK COFFEE HOUSE BEATNIK JAZZ POSTER

What's shakin'? Well take a look at this Beat Chick sitting in the corner. Wow! The only giveaway to her level of excitation is that finger snapping.

In November of 1959, Life Magazine described the Beat Chick as follows: "Scraggly hair, long black stocking, heavy eye makeup and an expression that could suggest either hauteur or uneasy digestion".

But this cool kitten looks insatiable rather than dyspeptic. Coming on with breathless abandon, she confesses that she would like nothing more than to have her visage plastered on your walls at night. So whaddya waitin' for?

This poster is 17 inches wide by 22 inches deep, generous black ink lushly printed on glossy white stock.

The image for this poster was created with pen and ink on paper and offset printed. No computers were used in the making of this poster, all drawn entirely by hand.
