Antique original laudanum bottle with paper label cork top.

This is an empty Laudanum bottle from Moyer Brothers,, Bloomosburg, Pennsylvania, circa late 1800s to early 1900s.

Laudanum was an Opium and Alcohol based fluid:

48% Alcohol
48 Grains Opium to each Fluid Oz.

The label has the dosage amounts for infants (1 drop) to adults (25 drops).

Bottle stands around 5-1/4 inches tall.

Laudanum was a popular drug during the 19th and early 20th century and was taken for various complaints, adults, children and infants.

This is a beautiful all original Laudanum bottle that would be a wonderful addition to anyone's medicine bottle collection.
