Plague Nails Mini Framed Curio
This beautiful framed curio is 7 inches wide by 9 inches tall.
The placard on top is hand-written using a Victorian dip pen and Victorian era ink
on hundred-year-old paper which reads:
Plague Nails
There are four plague nails that have been mounted in the center.
Plague nails were driven into the sides of buildings and homes in order to ward off
the Bubonic Plague, used especially in London.
This piece was mounted on vintage velvet, and trimmed with Victorian gold bullion trim and framed in
a beautiful vintage style wooden frame. It is ready to hang in
your very own personal dime museum or personal sideshow.

Please Note: With all of my Framed Curio Exhibits, I try to replicate
an authentic atmosphere of Victorian-era Dime Museum Patina.
This of course refers to that very special layer of age that builds up over decades,
something which I try to incorporate into all of the framed curio pieces I make.
This Victorian-era Dime Museum Patina may include one or more of the following:
vintage dust fabric, flower petals shards, glue bits, thread strands, sun faded material,
water stained, and/or smoke burned 100-year-old paper, &c., &c., and &c.
