CHARMS TO PREVENT AGAINST VAMPIRE ATTACK CURIO
A vampire in blood lust knows no bounds and has an overwhelming desire to feed. The vampire will act as if possessed and cannot restrain him or herself until their appetite is sated, even if it means killing where they would not normally. Blood lust is often characterized by a reddening or glowing of the eyes, possible showing or elongation of fangs, drooling, growling, or any other animal-like behavior also simply called "the lust."

The word Vampire only came into English language in 1732 via an English translation of a German report of a much publicized vampire staking in Serbia.

A vampire in the grave could be easily recognized by suspicious holes in the earth around the grave, a fresh looking corpse with a bright red face, or a corpse with one of its feet propped in the corner of its coffin. Graves were opened three years after death of a small child, five years after the death of a young person, and seven years after the death of an adult. This was done in order to check and make certain that the corpse was not a vampire.
