Vintage Undertaker Corpse Razor

Vintage Undertaker Corpse Razor

Vintage Undertaker Corpse Razor

This beautiful framed curio is 10 inches wide by 12 inches tall.

The placard is hand-written using a Victorian dip pen and Victorian era ink on hundred-year-old paper which reads:

Undertaker
Straight Edge Razor
Used to shave corpses

A vintage straight edge razor is mounted in the center.

Straight edge razors was once the Undertaker's best friend. Its firm grip made for easy handling when shaving a corpse and getting the body prepared for its final viewing, the last gathering among his loved ones.

This piece was mounted on vintage velvet and framed in a beautiful vintage style frame. It is ready to hang in your very own personal dime museum or personal sideshow.

Please Note: With all of my Framed Curio Exhibits, I try to replicate an authentic atmosphere of Victorian-era Dime Museum Patina. This of course refers to that very special layer of age that builds up over decades, something which I try to incorporate into all of the framed curio pieces I make.

This Victorian-era Dime Museum Patina may include one or more of the following: vintage dust fabric, flower petals shards, glue bits, thread strands, sun faded material, water stained, and/or smoke burned 100-year-old paper, &c., &c., and &c.
