Otherwise, most type of human bones can be bought and sold in the United States.

Within jurisdictions of U.S. Federal, Oregon State, and International Treaty Law, there are no prohibitions on the sale or possession of human bones.

Under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) ANY materials that are taken from archaeological sites of Native Americans is illegal. Buying, selling and even possessing certain Native American materials is also illegal.
