Doctor Orlick Vomica

This Plague Doctor has a vintage purple velvet hand-sewn hat, and tied around the brim is a wispy black weeper trail tied with a slip of red satin ribbon.

Around the head and neck is a lush brown velvet piece that is from the 1890s used as a head scarf.

The collar is a brilliant emerald green velvet from the 1870s and in remarkably good condition. The sleeves are made from a vintage burgundy red velvet, and each cuff is sewn with Victorian era French metallic gold vestment trim.

Belts were crafted from greenish gray woven trim circa 1870s (it came from the same garment as the brown velvet).

The tunic is olive green vintage velvet trimmed at the hem with Victorian era French metallic gold vestment trim.

The feet are sewn in the shape of a boot complete with heel, and hand-painted black.

The hands were specially made for these dolls and are bisque with a light acrylic color wash.
