Madame Sairey Bustlebottom Swadlincote Memento Mori Mourning Doll
Size of doll: 22 inches
Fabric used: Vintage black velvet with black ribbon and
vintage black sheer slip material with vintage black lace.
Hands and feet are delicate porcelain china, some are vintage pieces and some were made specifically for these dolls.
This doll was entirely hand-sewn, as was her costume, no sewing machines were used in the making of this doll.
The faces were both hand-painted using acrylic paints.
