This amazing medical magazine is dated December 1893 and was printed in St.
Louis by J. J. Lawrence. The magazine was established in 1873 and subscription
price was $1.00 a year.
The magazine has approx. 120 pages. Most of the book is advertising including an ad
for Dr. Munn's Elixir of Opium and many other things that sound like
quack medicine. In addition to the ads there are articles and letters
about advanced medical procedures. The condition is very good considering
its age. It does show signs of wear and handling and the back cover has come loose.
This magazine came from an auction from a household
that once owned a drug store in Foley, Minnesota.
