This is for two great family doctor magazines, both are from 1887.

INDIAN HEMP USES MORPHINE IN DIABETESWHY IS THE NEGRO BLACK?

This is periodical is entitled "THE FAMILY DOCTOR AND PEOPLE"S MEDICAL ADVISER" No. 116, dated SATURDAY MAY 21 1887 with an original price of One Penny. The magazine was published in London by GEORGE PURKESS, 286, Strand, W.C. and is in good, used condition with all pages present and has occasional small tears and creases as well as discolorations on some of the pages.

Also, both magazines were removed from a binding and does have an area of roughness at the spine edge due to this fact. Contents are fascinating and offers medical advise to the family of 1887 at a time when much of the doctoring was done at home. The magazine is illustrated.
