Deep in the jungle of Ecuador dwell the Jibaro Indians -- a primitive tribe around whose history and legend have woven tales of savage and terrifying barbarity.
Two experienced travellers from Europe set out from Lima in a Tatra car on a journey and set out on foot into the Amazon jungle, to discover the truth about the legendary Jibaro headhunters.
With a single Indian guide, completely unarmed, but carrying their precious film equipment and a case of cloth and costume jewellery samples as gifts, they began their unscheduled journey.
Their experiences among the Jibaros form the main theme of this intriguing book.
Condition: Good condition, some minor red stains on first and last pages, and on edges.
