Original dust jacket, this is a rare older copy of this famous landmark study on
paradoxia (Sexual desire at the wrong time of life, i.e. childhood or old age);
anesthesia (Insufficient sexual desire); hyperesthesia (Excessive sexual desire)
and paraesthesia, the sexual desire for the wrong goal or object, including
homosexuality ("contrary sexual desire"), sexual fetishism,
sadism, masochism, necrophilia, pedophilia, etc.
Because of the books sensationalistic and its highly controversial subject matter,
when the book went through a second printing, the "juicy" parts were written
in Latin, because of lay persons' demand for the book for presumably less
than academic purposes.
Gently read, book is very solid, spine excellent but dust jacket tattered, but still in one piece.
